Solar
Module Titan – F 20
Introduction
TITAN
Energy System Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Solar Photovoltaic
Modules in India. TITAN’s modules are certified by Ministry
of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES), India, for domestic use
and internationally by Joint Research Commission (JRC), Italy.
TITAN has designed and developed a solar module called as Foldable
Solar Charger. This module is very light in weight and is highly
suitable for charging equipment in remote areas where conventional
energy source is not available, (like border patrol stations, high
attitude areas, remote villages) and can be easily carried in man-pack.
TITAN-F20 has a rated power output of 20Wp.
Description
Foldable Solar
Charger is suitable for charging 6V, 12V, 18V and 24V, Lead Acid
and Nickel Cadmium batteries, used in man-pack wireless equipment.
Foldable Solar Charger is designed with more power in a small portable
package. The charger has four individual modules conveniently housed
in a rugged and waterproof canvas covering. It can be spread open
to sunlight whenever it is required to charge the equipment and
can be folded after use for easy handling and carrying. Foldable
Solar Charger conforms to relevant military standards and is suitable
for powering remote area telecom equipment, charging laptops in
the field or even for charging batteries at difficult and inaccessible
areas.
Quality
TITAN has established very high quality standards. Constant
checks and inspections at every step of production guarantee uniformly
high quality. Each module that leaves the production line is subjected
to thorough visual inspections as well as mechanical and electrical
tests guaranteeing product life of minimum 10 years.
Certifications
TITAN modules have been approved as per the requirements
of MNES, India, CEI/IEC 61215 standards by JRC, Italy and also conforms
to the requirements of Electrical Protection Class II and EWG guideline
89/932 (CE). Besides TITAN has a quality management system that
is in compliance with the International Quality System Standard
ISO 9002 and Q 9002 (1994).
